ELLINGTON, NY — Bartering has reached new heights in Western New York.
![]() |
On Saturday, June 11, the inaugural WNY Barter Trade Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.
The show marks the culmination of two years of significant growth for WNY Barter, which is dedicated to bringing local businesses together to trade valuable goods & services. This event also will thrust Western New York Barter past $1 million in trade transactions since the organization was created in 2009.
Main sponsors for the trade show include Glarner Group Productions, Filomena's Bakery & Cafe, Jamestown Cycle Shop and more. While the trade show will feature our decorated business members and vendors, there also will be live entertainment, raffles, door prizes and give-aways. This event is only open to WNY Barter members and local business owners.
WNY Barter is dedicated to growing the local business community through business to business exchanges. With that in mind, we recently acquired local trade organization BCI Northeast of Jamestown to form the largest independent modern barter organization in all of Western NY.
At a time when many businesses are strapped for capital, the services of WNY Barter become even more important. By trading excess inventory and idle time, businesses can continue to grow and invest in themselves and others, creating a more robust business community to serve area residents. Small business loans up to $50,000 are available to local businesses and repaid with guaranteed new sales.
