On April 28, AIDS Community Services of WNY participated in the national fund-raising program, Dining Out for Life. The way the event works is simple. You go out to eat, and a portion of your bill is donated to HIV/AIDS support givers. Ellicottville Brewing Company West was one of the participating restaurants, and WCVF's John Mackowiak was one of the people who ate. He reports that it's been estimated that the five Chautauqua County restaurants that participated raised about $7,000.
