JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County’s Canadaway 4-H Club will be kicking off their 2012-2013 year with their new registrant event on October 6 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Fredonia First United Methodist Church. The church is located at 25 Church Street in Fredonia. You will need to bring insurance information with you to sign up.
The Canadaway Club is coming off a spectacular year that included celebrating the club’s 75th Anniversary. Members participate in projects such as Food and Nutrition, Woodworking, Fine Arts, Ceramics, Public Speaking, as well as having the opportunity to participate in county programs such as Cake Decorating and various Animal projects.
The business meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fredonia First United Methodist Church in Fredonia.
There is a $50 enrollment fee that covers the entire year. If you have questions or would like more information please call club leader Heather Lesch at 679-4702 or the County 4-H office at 664-9502 ext. 212.
