United Arts Appeal of Chautauqua County
The United Arts Appeal is a non-profit organization that Funds the Arts within Chautauqua County and promotes community development and revitalization. Cultural tourism is the fastest growing segment of the tourism industry, and cultural travelers spend more money, and stay longer - one to three more nights, than other travelers. They are hungry to have authentic experiences at the places they visit, such as those provided by the organizations and artists supported by the United Arts Appeal. The arts bring significant resources from outside the county to our schools and institutions, from the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Endowment of the Arts, and from many private foundations.
