Pere Portabella’s documentary "The Silence Before Bach" is the next featured Cinema Series film at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House. To be screened as a kick-off to the annual Bach and Beyond Baroque Music Festival, the film plays on Sat., June 2 at 8 p.m. Unrated, “The Silence Before Bach” is in Spanish and German with English subtitles and runs 102 minutes. Tickets to the Series are available at the door for $7 (adults), $6.50 (seniors and Opera House members) and $5 (students) the night of each screening.
